After high school, I was struggling to find my place in the world, but the Fire Science program and its world-class instructors gave me an outlet where I felt safe to learn. The curriculum was rigorous and provided a depth of experience that exceeded my expectations. During my time there, I built relationships with industry professionals and made lifelong friends. I graduated with a career portfolio, interview experience, and an internship that put me on a path to success.

Volunteering with the Foundation has provided me a way to give back to the community that helped me find my second chance. Its mission to keep MetroED growing to meet the needs of our local workforce align perfectly with my desire to see these programs thrive for years to come.
