Board President – MetroED Foundation
Jessica Geary is the Board President for the MetroED Foundation. She started her corporate career at Xilinx, Inc. (now AMD) as a HR Specialist focused on global mobility and immigration.  She broadened her HR experience adding in HR compliance, specifically in policies and procedures, Form I-9s, and Affirmative Action.  In 2015, she moved into global benefits and created the Global Wellbeing Program serving 4,000+ employees. In 2022, she started in a new role as Human Resources Director at Technology Credit Union with a focus on HR Operations.
Jessica is also a Girl Scout leader for her daughter’s troop, going on her sixth year.  She enjoys being a mentor to young women, teaching leadership skills and sisterhood.  Additionally, she served the Union School District as a Project Cornerstone volunteer on and off for four years.  She enjoyed teaching young students the values of empathy and respect.

Jessica serves on the MetroEd Foundation Board because the Silicon Valley Career Technical Education school (SVCTE) positively impacts her community and family.  Many of her family members attended SVCTE, including her father, mother, aunt, brothers, sister, cousins, nephew, and her son. She’s seen first-hand how the skills they’ve learned have given them many options for employment in high-paying and successful careers.
